Fubbles Bubbles for good, old-fashioned fun…
Yesterday began with the feel of summer that I remembered as a child. The sun was shining, the heat was building, a warm breeze was beckoning and outside was calling… and I got to share this most wonderful feeling with 2 of my grandsons, Benjamin and Henry.
Of course, we headed outside. “Let’s do bubbles!” Ben called as he spotted the big red bubbles dish and large bubbles wand on their side porch.
Henry and I were all in.
The magic for the boys and the return to childhood for me began in the snap of a bubble.
It’s almost impossible to put into words the true magic of a bubble – the capture of it, the holding-breath silence of lifting it, the mesmerizing release of it and the awe of watching it sail away in the summer morning breeze… but doing this with Fubbles was the most fun bubbles-time I’ve ever had. Ever…
A bubble holds such discovery, learning, laughter... and oh, how the kid in each of us comes out to play! *Note: I was not compensated in any way for this post. I simply discovered the Fubbles sitting on my daughter Audrey's side porch and set about being a Grandma! #SeeGrandmaPlay
It looks like you and the kids had a great time. Bubbles are great summer fun!
Love the pics that capture your grandkids in full-on Bubble action. Bubbles bring back so memories for me too. You have a way of omitting the “UM” in summer for those kids! Way to go, grandma. 😉
So much fun!
WOW! Those are some impressive bubbles!!! Avery loves bubble time and we have a little battery operated bubble “gun” that we make them with. It’s so much fun!
It’s amazing what a little soap and water can do for kids!
