Hedbanz by Spin Master – and a masterful morning of Grandson fun!
As I walked into my daughter Audrey’s home, my 5-year old grandson Henry was waiting for me with a great big smile – and a game. I was there to babysit for Henry for the morning (before afternoon Kindergarten) while his parents took his baby sister to an appointment and his three older brothers were at school.
It was going to be just Henry and me!
“Grandma, can we play this game?” Henry giggled. And danced. And asked again.
“Sure, Honey,” I said.
I hardly got the words out as Henry was setting up a game called Hedbanz and explaining the directions in detail. In short, it’s a hilarious game of WHAT AM I? – asking questions to determine what exactly YOU ARE before time runs out…
In moments in time, it was capturing JOY. It was discovering every THOUGHT a 5-year old can have. It was a masterful morning of smiles, laughter, reading, thinking, thinking, thinking – and pure Grandson FUN…
I became a kid again on this morning of Hedbanz with Henry. I laughed ’til my face hurt at the questions and answers that we were tossing out at each other…
And I can’t wait to play again!
We have that game and my kids love it. I listen to them and they come up with some dandy questions (they’re no big rule followers).
That’s such an awesome game!!!! This looks like the perfect Christmas gift for my nephew!
This is adorable! I want this for my kids!
