Hemangioma Update on Victoria – 9 months

I’ve been overwhelmed (in a good way) with people reaching out to me asking me about Victoria’s Hemangioma. Truly, it means the world to me. Your kindness. Your words. Your everything. It means so much.

I thought it would be good this weekend to shoot a video with Victoria just sharing about how it’s doing and how far we’ve come since it ulcerated this past holiday season.

Thank you again!

Did your pediatric dermatologist prescribe propanol or timolol (beta blockers) for the hemangioma which has demonstrated amazing efficacy and safety in clinical studies? It is now considered 1st line treatment for hemangiomas that are located in such prominent parts of the body.

Hi Audrey- I am glad to see that Victoria is doing well. We had a similar experience with my daughter Amber. For a long while we just watched the hemangioma but eventually we were encouraged to have it removed because it was not going away as quickly as we hoped. It was a hard decision because eventually all of them go a way it is just a matter of when. We were happy with our choice but I have known others who have waited and it was a good choice for them. No matter what, Victoria is beautiful!

Yes, they did. But for personal reasons, we chose not to do Propanol.
