As you know, we’re KIND of a swim family.
I joke. If you read my blog regularly or follow me on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram… you know my family is a total SWIM FAMILY. The boys all swim on the swim team. My oldest son William is OBSESSED with swimming. We live on pool decks. Honestly… 45 weeks out of the year, we’re swimming. We’re THAT family.
I have always encourage my friends and family to get their children involved with swimming because I feel it’s so important and such a wonderful skill to know and to love. It’s just something everyone should learn how to do in their lifetime, I truly believe that.
On Saturday, May 17th… it is actually National Learn to Swim Day.
How cool is that?
This is the third annual National Learn to Swim Day because with spring in full effect and Memorial Day around the corner, parents and caretakers nationwide will begin gearing up for summer fun. Truly, now is the time to remind yourself about your children’s and others swimming safety.
Hosted by Swimways, a leading manufacturer of pool and outdoor recreational products, National Learn to Swim Day is held annually to increase awareness about the importance of learning to swim. Their dedicated website, www.TeachMetoSwim.com, provides great tools and resources to help support their mission, including swim tips, accomplishment certificates and more.
It’s amazing!
Such a fabulous place for parents to go and read about safety in the water.
I love
