Yesterday I had one of the most relaxing and one of the best Mother’s Day ever.
This was my secret… we didn’t make any plans. We woke up and just sort of went and did whatever we wanted. We didn’t have to meet people anywhere. We didn’t have to make sure we made our reservation. We didn’t have anything. It was heaven. Pure. Pure. Heaven.
We started off at church, then went to Newport fun lunch (I’m obsessed with the Brick Alley Pub in Newport!), then went to the beach to run around for a little (It was FREEZING!), then went to Matt’s FAVE farm (Farmer’s Daughter) to buy some flowers to plant, then to the market and then home to relax and cook!
My husband and sons bought me a gorgeous gazebo to put out on our deck (that comes with a chandelier), and we just sat out there – ate, laughed and had the boys do a Mother’s Day recap video.
I asked them a simple question, “What do you love about me?”
Just one thing.
The answers? LOL… not what I expected!
Gorgeous gazebo & family! I loved the under the table game of kicky-feet too…LOL. Typical boys! Happy belated Mother’s Day! 🙂
I adore your family <3 (And your kickass new gazebo)
