When I’m out with my family, comfort is my main priority… but yes, I still want to look stylish, too.

My husband and I took Victoria out to a local nursery with us last Friday afternoon. It was just the 3 of us, which was kind of weird because I kept wanting to ask, “Where are the boys?” They were at school, it was a gorgeous day and we thought it would be nice to just enjoy our little lady for a couple of hours outside.

My outfit of choice?

A white tee and a pair of capri jeans.

I know, as basic as you can get, right?

But here’s the thing… you can make a white tee and capri jeans stylish, I promise!

The reason I chose this outfit was because I knew every mom in America should have at least a white tee and a pair of jeans in their closet. I’m someone who lives in jeans and thankfully… it took me 11 months… but I’m starting to slowly get back into my old jeans. I have about 4 pairs that finally fit me again.

This is why I love this outfit.

1) It’s comfy. I was able to walk around the gorgeous nursery and bend, run and chase my girl. When finding capris, you really want to find a pair that fit well, but aren’t too tight or too loose. I found these at American Eagle.

2) White tee for everyone. My area that I try to “hide” is my stomach. I love looser fitting tees, nothing too tight. The reason I chose this white tee is because it’s on the looser side and it’s something I can layer over a tank. I found this at Splendid.

3) My loafers. Oh, yes… shoes are a HUGE thing to make sure they’re fitting properly. I love, love, love these loafers because they are cozy, but also they go with EVERYTHING! I’m obsessed with them. I found these at Lands’ End.

Gotta love a day out with my girl and my best big guy!
