Top 5 Love Stories of All Time #TFIOS

I’m a romantic.

Always have been, always will be.

I’m the girl in high school who left secret admirer notes in a boy’s locker that I liked.
I’m the girl who buys the soundtracks to ALL the romance movies I love.
I’m the girl who – when I met my husband – took him to see the movie Practical Magic on our first date.
I’m the girl who will literally tell my sons that they need to do romantic gestures for the girls they like/love someday.

I’ve always loved a good romance movie.

Ever since I can remember, the ONLY movies I’ve ever wanted to watch are love movies. They have always had my heart. The story. The characters. The romance. The love. The passion. True. Romance. The kind of story that just gets you to the core and you can’t stop thinking about it for days.

It’s actually really fun for me now because I have 2 thirteen year old nieces that love romance movies, too! Since I’m a mom of 4 boys (my daughter is still too young), the ONLY movies they want to watch are action movies, so I finally have these 2 little ladies to go to the movies with and gush over a romance. I love it.

Recently I have a new love story that has just captured my heart in a million places – The Fault In Our Stars.

OMG. It is… incredible.

If I had to list my TOP 5 LOVE Stories of ALL TIME, The Fault in Our Stars would ABSOLUTELY make it:
(Here’s my list… in no particular order)
1. Message in a Bottle
2. The Fault In Our Stars
3. While You Were Sleeping
4. Sweet Home Alabama
5. The Notebook

These are my 5. These are the movies that have made me smile, made me laugh and made me cry, but my top right now, that I just can’t get out of my mind is The Fault In Our Stars…

The Fault In Our Stars is based on the number-one bestselling novel by John Green, which I read a couple of months ago. The movie – which opens Friday, JUNE 6th – explores the funny, thrilling and tragic business of being alive and in love. The movie is about Hazel and Gus, two extraordinary teenagers who share an acerbic wit, a disdain for the conventional, and a love that sweeps them — and us – on an unforgettable journey. Their relationship is all the more miraculous, given that they met and fell in love at a cancer support group. The movie will make you laugh. The movie will make you cry. The movie will touch your heart and your soul. The movie will live within you for a few days, it’s that good.
