Summer time is grilling time!!! I’m the griller in my household…possibly because I’m kind of a control freak in the kitchen and outdoors. If it involved food, it’s my domain. There is nothing like the smell of food cooking on the grill on a warm summer night, with a cold beer in hand. I just love it! I’m here to share with you 6 different grilling marinades to try out! These are Chicken Marinade Recipes – but can be used for steak, fish, or even portabella mushroom caps, you’ll find one that will pair nicely.

My all time favorite for fish is one I found watching Ina Garten. The Asian Grill Sauce. I even use it as a salad dressing occasionally.

1: Asian Grill Sauce: 2tbls of Dijon mustard, 3tbls soy sauce, 1tsp minced garlic, and 6tbls olive oil.

2: Montreal Steak Marinade: 2tbls cider vinegar, 2tsp Worcestershire, 1tbls steak seasoning, 5tbls olive oil. (this one is great with portabellas)

3: Lemon Herb: 1/3 cup olive oil, ¼ cup fresh lemon juice, 1tsp minced garlic, 3 tsp of thyme.

4: Teriyaki: ½ cup soy sauce, ½ cup orange juice, 1tbls rice wine vinegar, 1tsp minced garlic, 1tsp minced ginger.

5: Honey Mustard: 3tbls Dijon mustard, 3tbls honey, 2tbls soy sauce.

6: Garlic & Herb: 6 crushed cloves of garlic, 2tsp thyme, 2tsp rosemary, 2tbls cider vinegar, 5tbls olive oil.

I usually leave my meats in the marinade for 30 minutes or longer before tossing them on the grill. I hope you enjoy them! Now get out there and enjoy a gorgeous summer night.

Hope you enjoyed these Chicken Marinade Recipes!
