Dream Snow is a wonderfully gentle story of an old farmer, his five animals and his tree. One night, as the farmer settles into his favorite chair drinking a cup of peppermint tea, he realizes that it’s almost Christmas and it hasn’t yet snowed ~ and he falls asleep, dreaming of snow. When the farmer awakens, it had snowed, creating a very Merry Christmas for his animals and tree. This story unfolds like soft falling snow and the magnificent illustrations and acetate pages of snow (and real music at the story’s end) are pure joy.
