Best Friend Holiday Party and TARGET $50 GIFT CARD #TARGETHoliday

My boys love to get together with their friends. It’s something they BEG me to do all the time. They would love to set up playdates every single day after-school if I let them. Our lives are just so busy, it’s tough for me to be able to do that for them.

Monday night we have swimming from 4:30-7PM (different times for all of the boys).
Tuesday night we have CCD and swimming from 3:45-7PM.
Wednesday night we have swimming from 4-6PM.
Thursday night we have a class with Victoria (that they boys LOVE to come watch) and we meet up with my parents for dinner,
Friday night we have swimming from 4-7PM.

The weekends?

Forget about it, they’re crazier than the week!

But my guys? What can I say, they LOVE to try and fit everything in and I love that about them.

This past weekend was a busy weekend for us, but I wanted to surprise the boys with a fun holiday playdate with their best friends. It works out well because I happen to be best friend’s with the mom (and my husband with the dad), so getting together with this particular family is always something special for us. Since the holidays are HERE and it’s a fun, festive time of year, I thought it would be fun to surprise the boys with a holiday spread and decor! Every time the boys get together, all they want to do is play video games or football outside, so my best friend and I let them do their “normal” routine, while the 2 of us put together an adorable table setting for them of all stuff that I got at Target!

I bought a dangling, “Happy Holidays” sign.
I bought a beautiful red table runner.
I bought 7 holiday plates (not breakable!).
I bought a beautiful 2-tier serving dish.
I bought really cute holiday napkins for them.

I have to say, I spent about $100, I was able to really create an adorable setting and the best part, I can use everything throughout the holidays, too.

When the boys came in to eat… it was adorable, they were shocked! And I have to say, they loved and appreciated it!

We ordered them their favorite pizza and made some yummy cookies for them, too!

I’d love to spend a holiday night with my sister and her children but she is across the country so that isn’t possible for us this year. We will be spending our holidays just as our own little family.

I would like to spend a holiday night with my brother and sister. Now, that we are all grown up, it doesn’t happen like when we were little kids.
