Mama Love – and Lessons in Old Photographs

Mama Love – and Lessons in Old Photographs…

There is no greater emotional tie, I think, than Mama & Babe.

I suppose I could cite some research about mother/child bonds and the psychology of attachment and foundations of love and security for life and love and all that… but I’m going to stick with the simple Mama Love of a mother.

We all know it – biological, adoptive, foster – MAMA LOVE.

Then the Babe grows up and brings home another love – oh, my.

THIS is where, I contend, that the new love must always remember that the Mama Love is still present, still as big as the universe –  and if you’re still with me, still very important to all that psychology of attachment and foundations of love and security for life and love and all that.

If only the new love could see the Joy, Love, Blessings, Happiness of that Mama & Babe when no-one more important or loved existed for this child.

Sometimes, it’s as simple as an old photograph…

And there it is…
