I joke with people that my family is the kind of family that’s always on the go, but we are. We truly… really are that family. We’re at baseball games. We’re at swim practice. We’re at swim meets. We’re taking weekend adventures. We’re checking out the local beaches. We’re going on walks and hikes around our beautiful little state of Rhode Island. With the Bose SoundLink Mini 2 you can literally enjoy your music on the go, every time you’re out and about. Since we’re all about swimming right with my children – my kids practice 4 nights a week, all at different times, but I still need to be there with all of the kids at once. The swimming pool that they workout at is right next door to a track, playground and hiking fields. When one of the kid (or kids) is in the pool, I’m out and about with the others – and I LOVE that I can bring along music, too! The SoundLink® Mini Bluetooth speaker 2 delivers full, natural sound with a dramatically deeper bass than you’d expect from an ultra-compact speaker. The beauty is that the speaker fits in the palm of your hand (it’s only 1.5 pounds). It’s not big and cumbersome. It’s small and the perfect size to take out! I love that I can pop it under my daughter’s stroller for safe keeping as we stroll or just hold it in my hand while I’m watching the kids play on the playground (or on the pool deck!).

Another great feature for me, especially with my 2 year old daughter is that it connects wirelessly to your smartphone, tablet or other Bluetooth device. You can easily listen to your music, videos or games anytime and anywhere. Victoria loves to watch YouTube Kids videos, so this makes it easy for her to listen on the pool deck while her brothers are swimming or on the baseball field while her brothers are playing! Not to mention, the built-in speakerphone lets you take calls out loud, too. The big question for my husband was the battery life on it. It always seems like we’re running against the clock when we have gadgets out and about with us. I was happy to discover that the rechargeable lithium-ion battery delivers up to 10 hours of playtime, and charges with most USB power sources. Easy as can be!
