It’s a chilly New England kinda day! Walking to the bus stop with the boys, it definitely calls for some extra layers. To be honest with you, I’ve been waiting for this kind of weather! I love it. It’s not too cold, but it’s not too hot – it’s just right.

Today is all about the layers… and still, no coat necessary (yet)!

I’m obsessed with sweaters that I can use as perfect layers. J.Jill has the coziest sweaters ever! You saw me wearing my Southwest Topper on Monday, today’s all about their SHAKER-STITCH TOPPER. It’s a wonderful addition to your fall wardrobe because you can easily dress it up or dress it down! It has a double-layer shawl collar with classic shaker stitching which creates allover texture. There are oversized horn buttons, long raglan sleeves, front welt pockets and it gives a relaxed fit.

Since I wanted to dress my look up for the day, I decided to pair with my skinny brown cords, leopard heels and plaid blouse. I love combining two different prints that normally wouldn’t traditionally go together. It’s an easy way to have some fashion fun and create a chic and trendy look.

My fave accessory for the day? My hat!
