Thanksgiving Day Books for Kids
Thanksgiving is in a few short weeks. I’ve always loved Thanksgiving. Growing up in New England, I remember taking many field trips with my school to the Plymouth Rock and touring the Plymouth Plantation in Plymouth, MA. It really made me understand the beauty and the importance of Thanksgiving. It’s good for kids to know that Thanksgiving isn’t just about eating turkey and watching football, the holiday is a holiday for a reason.
Each Thanksgiving I purchase a new “Thanksgiving Day” book for our family. My sons know this tradition now and they love seeing what new book I will bring in and we will read together. Now that Victoria is getting older, she’s going to be in on the tradition, too. This year I already know what book I’m going to get, but I thought it would be fun to share with you some great Thanksgiving Day books for you to share with your family, too.
