Yesterday, a late season snowfall hit my state, my town, my yard. Honestly, I wasn’t all that happy about waking up to accumulated snow on the second day of Spring. It was cold, windy and seriously, I had already stored my shovels, car scrapers and had to dig to the back of my closet for boots. But at one moment of shoveling, I noticed little buds of life on my Forsythia bush… that looked like little snow creatures with eyes and legs and tails! They were lovely little things of mystery and magic. Suddenly, the snowfall was a gift of Joy and I knew that these little snow creatures were a Haiku in Search of a Voice!
