The Rhode Show in Rhode Island (CBS affiliate) is our local morning show.  I’ve had the great opportunity to guest co-host and do many segments throughout the years. They’re very good to me and I love being on because it’s such a warm, friendly group of people. Fashion is one of my FAVORITE topics to dish about on The Rhode Show, especially kid fashion and style. With Easter 2 days away, they had me on this week to discuss trends and some easy outfits moms could put together for their kids.

Since I have 5 kids, I decided to bring them in (with the exception of William, he didn’t want to miss school) to be my models for the trends I was showing off this week. My Alex, Ben and Henry were very excited. They LOVED being on TV and were up for the fashion challenge! My daughter Victoria… well, as you know if you watch my YouTube videos – she’s pretty good on camera when she wants to be. She even has a little intro song that she does when we do videos. It’s very funny. But here’s the thing about LIVE TV, you just never know what you’re going to get.

Ever.

And so… we rolled with the Victoria punches this week. She was a good girl, she just didn’t want to sit still. The toughest part is just not letting it bother you and rolling with the segment. We’re used to it with our videos, but I wasn’t sure if Michaela (from The Rhode Show) would be, well… she NAILED it! She rolled with it and laughed along with us!
