We love puzzles at home! One of the best things is setting out all the pieces and seeing how long it takes us to finish one! With 4 boys, it’s usually done pretty quickly! I love finding puzzles that offer a piece of education, too. Since it’s great to build and create, it’s also great to take these moments to teach, too. The best part – the kids don’t know they’re learning! LOL!
Cardborders is designing a series of thoughtful, artistic puzzles for kids that are 4+, which aim to introduce young kids to landmarks and locales that make cities unique. Since my kids LOVE NYC (and think it’s the best City in the world!), so when Cardborders sent us one all about NYC, we DOVE right in head first!
As you can tell, the building was a ton of fun because the image is so bold and bright and awesome! I love how the places that we needed to create for the puzzle where places we’ve already been with them all! 2 of my sons were born in NYC, so it was even more fun creating this with them.
And then the last piece and we’re done!
Gorgeous, right!?
Explore the five boroughs of New York City by piecing together the kid-friendly sights that make this city one of a kind. Jane Archer’s beautiful and playful illustrations make this puzzle a fun way for kids to remember where they’ve been and discover places they’d like to visit—and to inspire us all to keep looking.
