Monday.

Oh, yes… it’s Monday (again).

Mondays are tough in the McClelland household, it’s rallying the troops and getting everyone excited and ready for the week! Personally – Mondays aren’t my favorite either. I cherish my weekends, so starting off a new week, there’s always that “ugh…” feeling when I wake up on Monday mornings!

Well, I’m determined to change that Monday attitude!

According to a recent “State of Fun” survey conducted by Crocs 64% of U.S. Moms declare Monday as the least fun day of the week! YES! I hear this loud and clear! It’s time to change this and bring some FUN into our lives on Mondays! There are a few things I’d love to add into my Mondays (which I’m going to start doing!)… my top (3) are pretty easy and very doable…

1. Manicure and Pedicure day! There’s nothing like a little pampering treat!
2. Grab a friend and walk/run your neighborhood! Such a fun way to get yourself moving, laughing and looking forward to something on a Monday.
3. Grab a new shade of lipstick or a fabulous new eye palette and beautify yourself up on a Monday! Always great to try something new!

But!! With today being Monday and GORGEOUS outside, I thought it would be fun to grab my sidekick (my daughter) and head outside for a little fun! We both grabbed our new SPRING Crocs (Crocs also said that in the “State of Fun” survey, 69% of Moms say shoes are important for having fun – no surprise there!) and went outside to do some jumping!

My daughter’s laugh is contagious and really brings me great joy, so this was a ton of fun to do with her and just get outside and breath in the wonderful weather!

It was perfect and just the way to kick off Monday! Not to mention watching my daughter (as she said) “pose” in her shoes. She literally put her hands right on her hips, pivoted her foot up and smiled. We were DYING laughing! She’s just a riot!

So moms… bring on Monday! Make it worth it. Make it fun. Do something different and out of the box today! Make today count with some extra fun and laughter!
