Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there today!

I have 2 that are very special to me in my life…

First, my own dad!

This guy.

I don’t know what I did in a past life to get so lucky in this life with him as my father.
He is everything to me and my siblings.
On this special day – where he’s running around making sure he’s at all his grandchildren’s swim meets, soccer games, lacrosse tournaments and baseball games – I want to thank my father for not only being an incredible dad, but a best friend, too.

And to my husband, the father of my children…

I fell in love with Matt when I was 20 years old. From the second I met him, I knew he would be an incredible father someday. Kind. Patient. Funny. Caring. Relaxed. Sweet. Loving.
18 years later… 5 times over, he is simply the best father to our children. You hope and pray for your kids to have a father that – for our boys, they’ll want to be like someday and our daughter will want to find someone just like him someday. I feel blessed that they have this example in a father.
