We seem to have a tradition in the McCleland household every year.
We buy pumpkins super early. We plan to carve them, but we seem to wait till the VERY LAST second until we get it done. Without fail this happens every single year.
This year – we actually were ahead of ourselves by carving on October 30th and not the 31st!
I honestly couldn’t even watch because the boys with the knives (even though VERY DULL knives) were just making me a nervous nelly. Not to mention my sons William and Alex decided to live stream their pumpkin carving skills via their Musical.Ly account. Not if I wasn’t in “social media” I would’ve found this odd, but we rolled with it and I found it adorable watching them talk to “their audience!”
I loved seeing Victoria get down and pumpkin dirty!
We hosted a special Halloween party at our house this year!
We invited 3 families to trick or treat with us – all with boys the same age as our guys. It was actually hilarious, we had 9 boys and 1 girl our for Halloween! The boys were typical boys, running ahead and trying to see who could get the most amount of candy! They were in such a mad dash that for the first time EVER I wasn’t able to get a McClelland kid Halloween photo!
The best part for me was hanging with my girl! Now if you remember, I told you she was going to be Peppa Pig. She decided VERY last minute to switch to a Belle costume. As much as I wanted her to be Peppa, Belle it was!! It was adorable walking with her from house to house. She would say “trick or treat!” and just wait for her candy!
I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween!
