The Disney Social Media Moms Conference took place in early February and it was land and sea! This was my 4th time being part of the Celebration and it’s always magical and fun and just a really good time. One of the reasons why I love conferences is because I get a chance to see people that I adore. it really is for me one of the main reasons why I go. We all spend so much time online blogging and doing social media, that sometimes we forget the actual social part of social. Since this conference is always built around fun and excitement, it’s a wonderful one to attend and really have such a blast at with everyone!
I’ve already blogged about a few things from my trip… Pandora preview, Caring for Giants and Animal Kingdom’s Rivers of Light, but I wanted to highlight some of my favorite other moments, too!
One of the coolest parts was BEFORE the trip… getting an R2D2 suitcase from American Tourister! It goes PERFECT with my “big” Mickey Mouse one! As soon as I located Vera at the Orlando airport, I had to capture our American Tourister bags together!
Like I said up above, one of the best parts about a conference is seeing people you love and adore! I have been friend with Colleen and Vera for YEARS, so it was so cool to spend some extra quality time together! We were all at the very 1st Disney Social Media Moms Conference together, so it’s like coming home!
The first day I got a quick sneak peek of Pandora with this fun bunch of influencers! What a treat! It was so cool seeing what’s to come! We couldn’t take any photos behind the fence, so this was the best I could do! More to come, though!
And – of course – while at Disney… you get Minnie Ears! How can you not, right!? I wore them all day! The best part is – the people without Mickey ears actually stand out! LOL!
Having the Conference begin was a real treat because they had amazing sponsors! I have LONG been a fan of Hanes and Bali, so when I saw that they were part of the Celebration, I was super thrilled! Hanes and Bali have always been great supporters to me throughout the years! I got a bra fitting while I was there, too – and GOOD NEWS – bigger than I thought! Not by much, but yes – still BIGGER!
Here I am with some friends about to check out the updated and new Soarin’ at Epcot! This is a fave ride for my family, so it was awesome to see the new one! I can’t wait to bring my kids back!
AHH!! Yes, we got to see the Beauty and the Beast rose! What a fabulous backdrop, right?
GoGo Squeez was one of the sponsors, too! They had delicious treats (which my kids adore) there for all the attendees and their families! And look who they brought along! Dominique Dawes! What an incredible ambassador for them! She’s VERY committed to healthy eating, so this was a true treat!
Had some fun shopping at Disney Springs while being part of the Shopping Challenge! We had $250 to create a Disney-fied photo series!
Frozen fun for my girl! I bought her that dress!
Apron fun time! It was so silly taking all these photos in the store, but the sales team didn’t mind at all! They actually encouraged it!
Buttercup ANYONE??
You can’t do Disney without a Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich! YUM!
Riding Toy Story solo. Boo! Missed my guys! This is their fave ride at Hollywood Studios!
We got to check out Born in China! It was very good, I wasn’t sure what to expect and was surprised as to how much it grabbed me.
And then off to sea on the WONDER!!!
I got to watch my cartoon come to life at Animator’s Palate! That’s my guy, the GREEN one!
The view from my cabin! Beautiful and so serene!
I could do a conference on a ship ANY DAY OF THE WEEK! I love listening to all the info and advice! You ALWAYS learn something new and it’s always a great experience to branch out and try new things, too! Love it!
This. This. This. Sun and water.
Loved having dinner with Vera and Maria Bailey! Always a treat to have some adult time and really enjoy some wonderful conversation!
I did the Castaway Cay 5K!!
Peace in the peaceful waters!
Just a wonderful last day… I was flying home into a snow storm, so I embraced this day to the fullest!
Thank you to Disney for hosting me. It was an incredible time and just magical from start to finish!
If you’re invited, I highly recommend going!
Trip of a lifetime for you and your family!
