I love sharing bun hairstyles because (especially during the summer) it’s an easy way to toss your hair up and go! These 5 easy bun hairstyles are super easy for anyone to do. I know that they might look a *little* complicated, but I promise – once you see them in my videos – you’ll see how super easy they really are to do.

Please remember – you can do these on your hair, too!

Are you ready!? I’m going to walk through the steps of each bun, but then showcasing the video right below it, too. I know that step by step walk-thrus are easy, but you can’t beat an actual hair tutorial video. Make sure you take the time to watch each one.

Bun Hairstyle #1 – Easiest Top Knot Bun. Everyone wants to learn to do a top knot, but they always look so complicated. With this style you can get a perfect knot in less than a minute!

Step 1: Pop your hair in a high ponytail
Step 2: Divide it in 2 sections
Step 3: Pop an elastic band around the end of the ponytail keeping the 2 sections divided (as seen)
Step 4: Take the extra hair that is left dangling down and wrap it around the elastic banded section to create your knot

Bun Hairstyle #2: This is a wrapped bun hairstyle. I feel like this is a great style if you’re heading to an occasion. I also love this style for a wedding, it’s perfection! It’s a great look on a child or a woman! It works beautifully on both.

Step 1: Create a low ponytail.
Step 2: Flip hair through ponytail
Step 3: Take the “tails” hanging down and flip them through the ponytail opening
Step 4: Take the sections that are left hanging and (literally) tie them
Step 5: Take the sections and then wrap them around the bun in place and hold with an elastic

Bun Hairstyle #3: Twisted Wrap Bun – I love this one because it looks adorable, but it’s also so super simple to do! I started doing this on Victoria’s hair the second it was long enough to do this style. I feel like this style is one my husband can do without even looking (now that means it’s easy!). I just think this one is cute as can be!

Step 1: Create a low ponytail in your hair
Step 2: Divide your hair in 2 sections and twist the sections all the way down
Step 3: Take the twisted ponytail and wrap it into a bun
Step 4: Secure in place with an elastic

Bun Hairstyle #4: Super Easy Pigtail Braided Bun is super cute for little girls. I love this style because it’s just sweet as can be. I love that this one is easy and can be done in less than 3 minutes, too! All of these styles can be done in less than 3 minutes!

Step 1: Create pigtails
Step 2: Twist each of the pigtails and elastic band
Step 3: Take the take pigtails and tie them together
Step 4: Tie them together again
Step 5: Elastic band the “braided bun” into place
Step 6: Take the tails that are left and tuck them into the bun

Bun Hairstyle #5: The Easiest Low Bun EVER – This bun hairstyle for girls is my favorite because it’s so elegant and EASY! You will think this bun hairstyle is sweet as can be!

Step 1: Start to create a ponytail, but before you actually make the ponytail stop and keep the loop (as you will see below in the video)
Step 2: Take a small elastic and add it to the small end of the tail that’s left (see below)
Step 3: Wrap the tail around the ponytail and tuck it in
