With the holidays here, it’s time for cute and simple holiday hairstyles! I’m all about creating some of the easiest and prettiest looks for my daughter’s hair (and my own, too!). I appreciate beautiful, intricate hairstyles – but I also love easy ones that just about anyone can do!
This is a simple one that I’ve relied on for years. It’s one that can be done quickly, but it also comes out looking so beautiful. You have the ability to add in some pretty holiday ribbon touches!

As you can see, it’s an easy one! I wasn’t lying! All you need to do is make sure you have hair elastics and some hair ribbon. It’s that kind of simple.
Step-by-step Tutorial:
- Brush the hair straight and smooth. Use a hairstyling cream to smooth it out.
- Part the hair down the middle.
- Take a small section on one side and bring it back to where the ear is and hair tie it.
- Once done, topsy tail that section.
- Repeat right on the other side with the same amount of hair.
- Add ribbons on each side.
