I’m all about finding cute and easy hairstyles that I can create on Victoria for basketball or any sports activities that she does. She needs to have her hair up, so a cute athletic hairstyle for girls is my goal when I’m doing her hair.
Athletic Hairstyle for Girls
When it comes to sports activities for girls, many times it’s required for girls to have their hair up. It’s essential because you don’t want your hair brushing in your face or someone else’s. Finding an athletic hairstyle for girls that is pretty and easy isn’t always a simple thing to do, but I’ve found some to share with you.
This is one that I absolutely love because it’s so easy to do and looks so cute, too! You should have long hair for this hairstyle, but you could try and create this with shoulder length hair, too.

Here’s a simple way to create this hairstyle. As you’ll see, it’s an easy one to do.

Step-by-step:
- Start with high pigtails.
- Divide the pigtails into 2 sections.
- Braid the outside section of both.
- Combine the unbraided ones and then three-strand braid the 3 sections all the way down.
- Add ribbons or bows.
As you can see, it’s simple as can be and really does end up looking so cute and pretty! And it’s a perfect athletic hairstyle for girls.

These are the Teenitor hair elastics I’ve been using lately. I was recommended to use them and couldn’t wait to give them a try. Victoria’s hair is on the thicker side, so I need to make sure I have hair elastics that will hold the hair and be extra durable.
