Pampers Cruisers Won the Green Good Housekeeping Seal!

I’m a HUGE fan.

When William was born in NYC at Lenox Hill Hospital on September 25th, 2004… they handed me my very first Pampers diaper, and I just never went back. I was a Pampers baby, and so were all of my boys. It’s incredibly bittersweet at this moment in my life not to have any diapers around… but maybe someday! 🙂

I’ve been been working with Pampers on their Pampers Blogger Board since this past spring and have been truly honored to be on the Board with some of my favorite blogging friends. We all have a passion and a love for Pampers, and it’s amazing to see all the work and passion that they put into their products.

So… I’m excited to share with you that Pampers Cruisers won the Green Good Housekeeping Seal!

Evaluated by the Good Housekeeping Research Institute (GHRI), Pampers Cruisers was recognized for performing well in the following areas: reducing energy used and waste produced in the manufacturing processes; toxicity and product safety; and packaging, including the use of recycled materials in packaging. Pampers and its parent company Procter & Gamble were also recognized for making strides in many different areas including keeping track of their carbon emissions by calculating carbon footprints on both the company and product levels.

Pampers is fully committed to sustainability and environmental protection with their efforts in helping insure a better quality of life for mothers and babies, now and for generations to come. Pampers has been innovating and focusing on using less material, while keeping babies drier than ever. They’re also constantly working to improve products that have even less impact on the environment in the future, while caring for baby’s happy, healthy development.

I was so happy for them and truly excited to share this information with other moms!

Great job Pampers!
