On Valentine’s Day morning my sons ran into my bedroom proudly holding a red package. There were about 100 pieces of tape on it, so I know they definitely “helped” my husband wrap it up… and the smiles on their faces as they gave it to me – PRICELESS.
I saw my husband in the corner of the room wink at me… so I “knew” that whatever was inside the package was from the BOYS.
And there it was… a Strawberry Shortcake tank top. Girls size 10 (bless their little hearts!).
And this is why today’s Fashion Advice for Moms is — sometimes there are just FASHION MUSTS… ! Wear them proud. Just wear them at home! 😉
Audrey,
I just love it and your such a good sport! The boys will always remember how happy you were to recieve such sweet gift.
How sweet of your boys! AND…. a girls size 10 – gotta love it 🙂
Aw, so totally sweet! I love how boys always want to pick out pretty things for their mamas. 🙂
Very cute. It’s good you can fit into it and wear it to please them. My son once bought me a horribly garish necklace, and kept getting it out for me to wear when I would ‘forget’. I would wear it when he was around, and take it off when he was not. But bless his little heart.
MUST KEEP is right! Such sweet boys you have.
That is so funny. Good for you. My kids make lots of “wearable art” at school and I do make an effort to wear it for family occasions. God love ’em!
What a gr8 memory! That is just too precious! I think it’s lovely.
🙂
You’re sporting the look well 😉 I adored Strawberry shortcake as a child.
Nell
That is too sweet.
I was a big Strawberry Shortcake fan too as a child. I really can’t wait until my little guy is old enough to be doing sweet stuff like that too.
