When it comes to diaper bags, it’s open season!
Let’s face it – anything that fits diapers, wet wipes, food, bottles, toys and binkies can be used as a “diaper bag.”
My husband uses plastic bags half the time… no, not very chic of him! 😉

I’ve been doomed to commit the fashion mistake of using the free diaper bag I recieved from the hospital. Which just broke. And my son is only five months old. I could really use a new one and that one looks awesome!

Believe it or not, I do not have a single handbag/tote that I could use as a diaper bag! I have a couple inexpensive diaper bags though, which are not too bad. I’d love to win the Skip Hop though!

Cute diaper bag! I use giant purses too. I fit the essentials in them: diapers, wipes, toy, burp rag, snacks for the big boys… and I’m good to go. I haven’t used a regular diaper bag in who knows how long… but I’m a sucker for red and I like Skip Hop!

hey audrey! you can usually find me with a cloth diaper, cloth wipes, a binky and a toy thrown into my own bag…. never got used to a diaper bag. the red one looks nice!

I keep trying to tell the hubbs that this is why I need to keep every last one of my old pocketbooks. I usu keep my huge purse stocked w/ the basics and have a seperate D.B. to drop off with them at school. I like the red skip hop since he wouldn’t mind carrying it… unlike my purses 🙂

Red is the best!
I used to carry a big open purse and found myself tossing diapers in there instead of the diaper bag. Never thought of doing that all the time! Great tips. I’d love to win the Skip Hop bag though….I am a compartmentalist, so that’d be perfect!

I use my backpack so that way my husband is not toting around a black polka dot diaperbag adn the backpack was easier for traveling!!!
great ideas. even though i get tons of compliments on my current bag, i definitely need to make a switch. i always want to say it cost $200 but i shock people when i tell them it is my $22 walmart special :o)

I am so hooked on your site! I love it. I have 2 babies and work fulltime your stuff is great and FUN. I have eye balled the skip Hop before and really liked it, but it was a bit pricey. Especially since I had two babies on Formula at the time.

No compartments in the bags? I like to use gallon size zip lock bags for several reasons: it organizes my bag, it keeps items dry, the diapers are kept neat rather than “wadded”, etc.
I use a bag for the diapers, one bag for food, one for an extra outfit, etc. Sometimes I will put my items in a ziploc bag (camera).
This makes it easy for me to find what I need in a hurry. I just grab the zip lock bag w/the items I need and not have to search through the bag.
PS…I do not need to be entered into the drawing. The method mentioned above has worked well for me. Thanks!
