Minimize your hips and thighs

There are certain parts of our bodies we want to minimize… not accentuate. I’m sure we all have those areas (please tell me we all do!).

One area I get asked a lot about minimizing is the hip and thighs region. It isn’t always a lady’s best friend. Fortunately, there are fashion tips available to help get your hips and thighs a more slender look. Here are 3 tips I want to pass along…

My first tip –

Don’t wear prints on the bottom. Wear neutral, solid colors. Save the prints for top. You will easily and naturally bring the attention away from your hips and thighs by sticking with neutral bottoms.

My second tip –

Wear boot cut or wide leg pants. This will automatically make your legs look longer, and therefore give the appearance of slender hips and thighs. I know I’ve mentioned this tip in the past, but truly… this is an important one when trying to minimize this region.

My third tip –

Heel it on up! You want to lengthen your look, and nothing lengthens you better than a pair of heels. I’m not talking 6 inch stilettos, I’m talking even something as short as a 1/2″. It’s all about making your legs appear longer, and heels are absolutely the best thing to do it. Imagine heels paired with boot cut pants and wide legs pants. The perfect combination.

PERFECTION!
