Trend Alert for Kids: Tie-Dye.

I learned how to tie-dye in 3rd grade. One of my babysitters was an “expert” at it, and I would beg her every time she was over to teach me. One afternoon she did… now, my t-shirt didn’t turn out looking anything spectacular, but I loved it! I wore with it with my denim shorts (rolled at the bottom – it was the 80s) and Keds sneakers… and I truly thought I was the coolest kid in school.

Well, tie-dye is BACK! Shirts, skirts, dresses, sweatshirts, socks and pants… they’ve all been hit with tie-dye this spring. It really brings me back…
