Growing up with Jane (my “baby” sister), I always knew the special bond of sisters. When I had William and then became pregnant immediately with another baby, I hoped it would be a brother (even if not then, someday…). My wish came true… and Alexander was born 3 days after William turned 1. And from the beginning – they were 2 peas in a pod.

When Benjamin came along (Alex was 18 months old)… I thought Benjamin may be jealous of William and Alexander’s bond as he got older. I guess I’m the one who got it wrong… they’ve all bonded in their own special ways. Each of them have their own little inside jokes. Each of them know what’s going to push buttons on each other. Each one knows what’s going to make the other one belly laugh… which brings me to Alexander and Benjamin. Alexander was spitting milk out of his mouth (oh the joy…) and Benjamin just about thought it was the funniest thing he’s ever seen!
