Each week throughout 2011 I will share how I am giving back somehow, whether it’s by offering my resources, my time, my talents or my support.
Giving back doesn’t have to be on a grand scale. And doesn’t have to be about money.
Oftentimes charities, organizations, causes and foundations need support beyond donations. And that’s what I’m going to try to focus on.
I will be sharing what I’m doing each week; perhaps you, too, will be inspired to give back.
Together we can make a difference.

52 Weeks of Giving: Week 10
For the fourth year my wonderful friend Christine from Boston Mamas (who is thisclose to having Baby #2!!) is partnering with March of Dimes to raise awareness and funds for the March for Babies, which is taking place in Boston on May 7.
I donated to Team Boston Mamas & Friends because Christine is my friend and I want to support her noble effort.
I donated to March of Dimes in honor of my friend, Beth, whose twin sons James and Jake died at 19 weeks in 2008.
I donated because March of Dimes’ research and programs aim to help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives.
Every little bit counts!
You can donate to Christine’s personal walk effort here.

Jane, thank you so much for sharing here! And also for supporting the effort with your donation! -Christine
Wonderful cause. I donated to the March through my friend Nancy (Bacardi Mama) and hope everyone donates what they can. Every bit counts!
