Clorox Spring Cleaning with Clorox ToiletWand

Spring is just about here and with it comes Spring Cleaning.  We have a big house and four messy boys who manage to dirty and ding everything from floor to ceiling.  Spring Cleaning is about finding lost action figures and DS games that have slid under the radiators or have become wedged in cushions as I clear debris from oft forgotten nooks and crannies.  As big a pain as it is for me, it’s usually a time for joyous celebration for the boys.  They’re not cleaning, they’re messing and finding old toys on top of it.

As you can imagine, the bathroom is a particular challenge.  I have three that are potty trained and one that’s soon to join the club.  As you can imagine with three little boys, their aim isn’t so good.  Truth be told, my aim isn’t all that great either.  The radiator actually needs to be sanded and painted as it tends to rust from the misfires.

It’s also a time to get up close and personal with the toilet.  I get down and dirty cleaning behind the toilet where my wife refuses to clean.  I do catch a break though when it comes to the bowl itself.  I use the Clorox ToiletWand for that.  Obviously I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty, but I’d rather not be elbow deep in the toilet bowl if I don’t have to be.

The Clorox ToiletWand has a long handle that snaps into a disposable cleaning head.  It has better surface contact than a toilet brush so it does a better job (kills 99.9% of bacteria) and what’s even better, you just release the cleaning head into the trash and it takes the germs with it.  I can’t tell you how many times one of my sons has come running through the kitchen waving the toilet brush or plunger.  Sure, it’s bound to happen with the ToiletWand, but it’s only the handle so not quite as gross!

Here’s a quick video that shows how to use the Clorox ToiletWand as well as some interesting bathroom facts.

Clorox is also providing one of my readers with a Clorox Bathroom Essentials ToiletWand prize pack including a ToiletWand, bathroom rug, toilet decal, and toilet paper holder.  Just leave a comment or story about your toughest Spring Cleaning jobs to enter.

Also, head over HERE for a coupon for $3.00 off the Clorox ToiletWand.

First of all I love reading that Dad prospective! My husband is pretty much a stay at home Dad (home at 1 in the afternoon, summers off) and he has been getting a kick out of reading your posts!

Cleaning our drawers is probably my toughest spring cleaning job! My boys have more clothes than anybody I know! Cleaning out stuff that doesn’t fit, is stained, has holes, and then cleaning stuff that has been packed away that they can now wear…it’s a real P.I.M.A.!

Love Spring cleaning. It is a Great time to open all the Windows Air out all the dust from Winter and refresh every room! Only problem with it is it does take time and effort to get it all done, but the reward in the end is the Best!
