Yup, it’s today.

10 years ago on a steaming Saturday morning (it was 95 degrees that day), I married my best friend!

Today the weather isn’t so different. It’s hot. It’s humid. And it’s GORGEOUS.

We have plans to go out to dinner tonight, a special romantic dinner… and then after dinner, we’re just going to play it by ear. We just want to be together and have some fun!

So what’s a woman to wear?

I’m not usually one to buy a new outfit for an occasion… but for my 10 year, I wanted to get something special, something Matt had never seen on me. After all, that’s what it was like 10 years ago. I had been looking high and low like a crazy lady for something that went BAM! for me. I couldn’t find a thing. I was even at the point where I was just going to raid some closets of of family and friends, just to see if they had a hidden gem I could borrow.

And then I found it.

When I was away at the Cercone Brown Summer House last weekend, Vineyard Vines sponsored one of our activities. We had the opportunity to head to their Nantucket store and we had some free time to shop. That’s when I saw it hanging on the rack and knew I NEEDED to try it on! And when it went on, I knew that was IT! This was the dress for my anniversary. 🙂

I am (borderline) obsessed with it. The fit is awesome. I love the trendy stripes. And it’s a mix of chicness and classic-ness.

And so, tonight… I’ll be wearing this dress – hopefully dazzling my husband! 🙂

My advice today: When you’re about to celebrate something ultra special, pull out all the stops in trying to find a perfect an outfit… it will make you feel beautiful and confident and spectacular!
