I remember seeing Dane Cook on SNL years ago. I actually think the story went a little something like this… someone cancelled, he filled in last minute and just rocked it out of the park. I literally remember sitting in front of the TV laughing so hard I was crying and gasping for air. That’s the kind of laughing I love… he was inappropriate in his jokes, but so FUNNY! He was “born” that night on a huge stage on SNL… and I was an instant fan.

So…

Last night as I looked at the pile and boxes of gifts that needed to be wrapped, and got that you’ve-got-to-be-kidding-me feeling in my stomach, I was just about to say, “Ahh… I’ll do it tomorrow night,” but then I happened to see that Dane Cook was on Comedy Central. It was an old segment, but one that I’d never seen before… so I figured, you know what – I’m wrapping with Dane tonight. Even if I get 4 gifts wrapped, it’s better than nothing.

(My husband was playing XBOX in the basement… I don’t know how the men continuously get out of buying and wrapping!)

In the course of an hour, while laughing hysterically… I wrapped 42 gifts.

42 gifts.

My mom, dad, sister, husband, coaches, teachers, brothers, nieces and nephews are done.

I don’t know what it is, but the guy is the funniest guy on the planet!

So… I’m up on the wrapping.
