I’m so excited! Tomorrow afternoon I have some girlfriends coming over for a Snapfish at-home party!  I love a good reason to have people over for a get together and I’m excited to share with my friends the awesomeness and benefits of Snapfish.

One of the reason’s I really wanted to host this party with Snapfish was because (I’m embarrassed to admit this) I have over 5000 photos just sitting on my computer that I have never, ever printed out.  All my life I grew up surrounded by photo albums… my parents were BIG photo people (they still are) and every month my mother would take a roll of film, develop it, get the photos and create an album.  We have tons and tons of beautiful albums of memories all around my parents house, it’s incredible.  It makes me sad that I haven’t done this yet for my own family, I want my sons to know that same feeling of seeing memories through photos (not just on my blog!).

So… I started the creation process!  I’ve been making Snapfish photo books filled with photos of the boys.  I’m starting with the most recent and going backwards… and I’m having a blast!

Snapfish makes it so easy to create customized photo books. I just have to log-in to my account and access the book builder. From there, Snapfish guides you step by step, including selecting your theme, getting your photos, choosing styles and page layouts and even auto filling so you can be done in a snap (pun intended!).

I started making books for each of the boys, which they love.  They sat with me and picked out the photos from this past year that they wanted in their book. My 2 completed “boy” books are William’s and Alexander’s… and they’re ADORABLE!

And I put together a gorgeous book filled with over 100 photos of our family… which I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!
