You know I’m a fashion girl.
And I’m totally going to admit this, when I decided to train for the 1/2 marathon, I got VERY excited about having to go out and purchase some new running clothes (I’m so not going to lie!).
I’ve been getting emails asking me what I’m going to wear for the actual race – Will you be wearing something bright pink? Will you be wearing Nike? Will you be wearing all black?
Nope. Nope. Nope and nope.
I’m wearing something very special…
xo
I just googled for what I should wear for my 10K run tomorrow, and stumbled on this video. Normally I don’t comment on videos, but as a former patient at Dana Farber, I just wanted to say I’m proud of what you are doing. My 6 months of treatment ended 4 years ago, and I recently ran my first half marathon! Good luck on yours. Please send me a link on where I can donate to your run.
Thank you so much Jon, it’s been an emotional training period for me. I find myself just crying sometimes when I’m running thinking of all the amazing things Dana Farber does for treating so many patients. I hope you are doing well and thank you so much for taking the time to comment. Bless you! http://www.rundanafarber.org/2012/audreymcclelland
