Last night I attended the incredible, incredible R Baby Foundation Gala in NYC. My friend Julia Beck was being honored for all of her hard work and dedication to R Baby, and it was wonderful to see her accept her award and hear her beautiful speech. She’s a dynamo that one!

I was equally honored to be asked to be on the Mom Committee for the Event, along with many of my good blogging friends. It was a fabulous night because we all got to be together and truly just have a good time. We kept joking that it was like we were going to a prom… we all met at The Plaza beforehand and got our hair and makeup done, it was just a HUGE treat!

As I sat in the chair to get my hair done, the stylist asked me, “What would you like me to do?”

I said very simply, “Give me BIG and GLAMOROUS… I want Dallas Cheerleader hair!”

She started to laugh, but I was dead serious. I wanted volume and waves and glam!

Needless to say, I was BEYOND happy with what I got!

Federico’s Salon was the master salon behind this hair… she literally just sectioned off my hair and curled it with a flat iron! It took her about 30 minutes to do my whole head and then she had me flip my head upside down and sprayed and raked her fingers through all the ways to get the VOLUME BABY!

I LOVED how it came out!!
