After having 4 little boys, I have to admit, I feel like an expert when it comes to what is needed for a new mom. When I had my first son William, I registered for everything under the sun — yes, even the bottle warmer. I used about 1/4 of the things I actually registered for and I felt so badly not using everything! By the time Henry came along… let’s just say, I knew everything I needed, I was a (ahem…) pro! 1) Ergobaby Carrier — Because I mama needs to be handsfree and comfy while doing it! I love the Ergobaby because it’s safe and secure for your little one and grows with you.

2) Vulli, Sophie the Giraffe — This was my sons’ go-to teether toy. Perfect for infant mouths and hands, and easily grows with your little one. I still have 4 of them from the boys all tucked away in their “special boxes.”

3) PAMPERS — Oh, these are the real deal and the MUST HAVE! Stock your nursery up like crazy!!

4) Monitor — This is the only way I was able to do anything when I had the little guys! This way I could be downstairs doing laundry and not worried about leaving them alone in their rooms. Monitors are lifesavers for a new parent.

5) Organic Baby Blankets — I loved buying organic blankets for the boys because they just made me feel better. Soft, cozy and comfy… the perfect addition to your child’s nursery.

6) Boppy — Breastfeeding pillow and amazing prop pillow for baby! This was a HUGE help with the boys!

7) Travel System Stroller — Oh, yes. A travel system stroller is a must, must, must!

8) Rocker/Vibrator Chair — I’m not kidding, my sons literally fell asleep every single night in their vibration chairs. They were my saving grace throughout the first 9-12 months!

9) Goodnight Moon — I read this book to my sons every single night. I started when they were babies, and it’s something I just love.

10) Swaddlers — These are the BEST things in the world for the babies to sleep in, they’re just fantastic!!
