My P&G everyday resolution today is to step out of my “beauty comfort zone” and try a new lip color!

I’m always daring with my eyes. I’ll try any and all new colors — blues, greens, charcoals, grays, purples, etc. — and I’m all about creating a smokey eye and having it look dramatic.

When it comes to my lips? I’m completely different.

I gravitate toward sheer glosses; those are my comfort zone “colors.” If it’s clear, it’s something I’m going to like. I have to be honest, I kind of always feel like my lips take a backseat in my beauty routine because I never “dress” them. All of my friends have their go-to lipsticks and I really don’t have one.

Well, I want to change things up a bit.

I want to have some beauty-ful fun.

I want to try and rock out some lip colors, not just glosses.

Pinks and oranges are the “it” colors of the summer of 2012. It doesn’t matter if we’re talking clothing or makeup, these colors are trending like crazy! So… drumroll please, I found a pink shade called Verve that I’m gushing over from COVERGIRL’s LipPerfection Lipcolor line and I’m trying it out today!
