Why choose lululemon Run Speed Shorts?

I’m very particular when it comes to running gear.  Very, very.

First and last, from the beginning of a run to the end, I must be comfortable.  I can’t have anything tightly restrictive or overly loose, heavy, binding, too long or too short or flowing/flapping in the wind.

(Phew… I sound like Goldilocks in The Story of the Three Bears!)

So you can imagine my delight in finding the perfect running shorts while attending last evening’s wonderful Tweet-up with some area fitness bloggers at the lululemon Athletica showroom in Providence…

I’ve been searching for running shorts.  Seriously searching, especially since joining the Runner’s World Challenge summer/early Fall training for Marine Corps Marathon (99 days to go, by the way).  So when I spotted these…

… they kinda made me say, “Hmmmm.”

Perfect smooth, wide waistband.  Wicking fabric.  Perfect length in front and a bit longer in back.  Perfect storage zipper in the back.  Trademarked “nakedseam” technology…

I tried them on.  LOVED them.  Brought them home.

And while getting ready for a little run this morning with my husband Barry, he noticed them.  LOVED them.  Snapped a couple of photos…

Then.  Barry went one step further.  (Oh, my… my daughters Audrey & Jane are gonna cringe!)  He said, “Hey, put on a pair of heels with those shorts and I’ll take you to dinner!”

OK.  I’m up for THAT challenge, too!…
