We wear dresses to work, events, functions and special occasions. When I started working in NYC for Donna Karan back in 2000, I remember my boss telling me I looked the best in a halter dress and a asymmetric dress because they showed off my arms. Ever since then, I’ve become obsessed with helping my family and friends find the perfect dress for their figures. It’s something that many women don’t know the answer to… we kind of get caught in the “what’s the best deal I can get on a dress?” rather than taking the time to find out what kind of dress silhouette will actually look the best on their body.

Shift Dress – Hang from the shoulder down in a straight line with no waistline accentuation. Perfect for ladies who want to hide their belly region. Also a very comfortable dress to wear.

A-Line Dress – Bottom silhouette is narrower at the top and flares out at the bottom. Perfect for someone trying to hide their hips and butt. Also a very classic style dress and perfect for work and special occasions.
