As you can imagine, I’ve been over-the-moon trying to find the BEST Halloween costume for my little girl.

Should she be a princess for her 1st Halloween?

Should she be a doll for her 1st Halloween?

Should she be a little puppy for her 1st Halloween?

My mind has been racing with ideas.

I turned to one of my favorite places to find Halloween costumes… Chasing Fireflies.

And then I saw the BEST COSTUME EVER on Chasing Fireflies…. a LOBSTER. Being from Rhode Island, I knew this was the PERFECT Halloween costume for Victoria for her 1st HALLOWEEN! I just kept thinking, she was our summer baby… our 1st girl… and I wanted a costume that was unforgettable. I felt a lobster was totally and utterly unforgettable.

So… I had to go with it because… well, I just had TO, literally – as soon as I saw it, I just “knew!”

And then the costume came in and I couldn’t get over the cuteness factor.

And then I saw Victoria IN the costume and I couldn’t stop staring… she was edible (in the none eating way!)…

This darling “catch of the day.” A plush red lobster bodysuit with claw-sleeves, separate antennae hood and slip-on booties. But please, no pinching those sweet cheeks. Polyester. Imported.

Absolutely adorable!
