SUBWAY and Disney’s Maleficent #PileOnTheVeggies GIVEAWAY

SUBWAY gift card

SUBWAY has become a family favorite for the McClellands! It’s been an easy and healthy option for us, especially since it’s a great place to go when we’re looking for lunch and/or dinner quickly. I know when I need a fast option, SUBWAY is my place!

When we head in, the boys all get different sandwiches.

William gets turkey with lettuce and tomatoes.

Alexander gets chicken with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and olives.

Ben gets ham, turkey and cheese with tomatoes, peppers, olives and cucumbers.

And my Henry gets ham and cheese with lettuce and green peppers.

Something different for everyone!

I love the fact that they’re piling on the veggies! It’s an easy way for me to have them eat their veggies, not to mention, they love the fact that they get to create their own sandwiches!

I LOVE that this summer, SUBWAY is encouraging everyone to #PileOnTheVeggies! SUBWAY knows that this can be tough; especially with little ones. To help encourage everyone to eat their vegetables, they are offering a magical SUBWAY experience, inspired by what is sure to be one of summer’s biggest blockbusters – Disney’s Maleficent.

They are introducing – the ‘Operation: #PileOnTheVeggies’ experience that will include magical elements sure to excite your kids and help them realize the powers that veggies can provide!

Love it, right!?

One of the easiest ways to #PileOnTheVeggies at SUBWAY is with the Fresh Fit menu; featuring tasty, heart-healthy choices for all ages. Kids get a special meal of their own, complete with a Fit Mini Sub (piled high with fresh veggies such as cucumbers and spinach), apple slices, and low-fat milk.

I love this “operation” because I think it’s so important to make sure we have healthy options for our kids. Life gets so busy in the summer and many of us moms are looking for some shortcuts in preparing lunches and dinners, I love that I can rely on SUBWAY.

Are you ready for this AWESOME GIVEAWAY for you and your family!?

I have a SUBWAY and Fandango gift card giveaway ($25 SUBWAY, $50 Fandango) to giveaway!!!

It’s SUPER EASY to enter.

Tell me how veggies and healthy eating help your family power through summer activities.

I will choose a winner on Monday July 7th!

GOOD LUCK!

Our favorite go to veggie snack is to keep all colors of peppers sliced and ready to go with the individual little cups of guacamole as the dip.

First off, I love Subway. I always get the whole wheat bread, turkey, cheese, and basically every veggie topping!!!! By eating veggies and other healthy meals, you avoid the mid-afternoon slump like when you eat McDonalds. With Subway, you have enough energy to do everything on your Summer to-do list!!! 🙂

Healthy eating in the summer helps save money. I have a garden with zucchini, tomatoes, eggplant, peppers and my one watermelon plant. My kids love to eat what we grow. We all need the energy to keep going during the summer months.

We grow a few veggies of our own and we purchase a weekly box from a local organic farm! This keeps our 5 boys in great shape for summer baseball! Subway card would be great for a quick lunch!

I’ve got my grandkids eating raw carrots, apples and other veggies. The trick was starting them young and letting them help prepare them. We always pack a little snack pack for our “nature walks” . Grandkids are amazing!

We are alot more active in the summer, so we need more energy! We love smoothies for a very similar reason – they are easy to make, and everyone can get exactly what they want in it – we make sure to keep plenty of fruits and veggies on hand so the combinations are endless!

Veggies just helps my son’s heart stay healthy! I get extremely worried since his murmur gets out of hand sometimes but since implementing veggies heavily in his diet, he’s been more active without stress and able to live a normal life! Plus, I tell him if he eats enough, he’ll eventually turn into a Transformer haha which he loves the idea of.

I love summer, I think it’s the only time when we actually get our daily intake of veggies. That is partly due to the fact that we need the extra energy to be able to participate in all our summer sports and because we have a large garden that we all just graze from all day long
