As a family of 7, there are a limited amount of places we can visit on a vacation. I recently just went to tour Generations Riviera Maya by Karisma and fell in love with the resort and knew it would be perfect for our large family.
It’s not easy traveling with a larger family because of a few reasons:
1. We don’t all fit in one room.
2. With the different ages in our kids, it’s difficult to find something for everyone to do.
3. Dining out with everyone on vacation can get real, well… pricey.
4. We usually have to bring people with us for some extra helping hands (a.k.a. Grandma and Grandpa!).

Well, let me say this… I recently visited the beautiful Generations Riviera Maya by Karisma on a press trip and I was just blown away by the luxury and beauty, but most of all how it is the perfect destination for someone traveling with their family. For me in particular, I was beyond impressed with how my whole family (yes, all 7 of us!) could visit this all-inclusive resort and have the time of our life!

I’m not kidding, every aspect of your trip is luxury.
But, not just luxury for couples, for FAMILIES, too… and that’s what I loved about Generations. I kept thinking about my 4 sons and my daughter and if they would have a good time here. As a mom, you do that, you automatically go to your family. Believe me, I’d have a good time just sitting by the pool or the beach all day, but as every parent knows, that’s not practical when you’re traveling with kids.
Every single day can be planned around your family’s needs and wants at the Karisma Generations Riviera Maya.
Let’s start with the kids… there is an AMAZING Eko Kids Club that I know my sons would want to be in EVERY SINGLE DAY. It was AWESOME to check out and see what they had in store for the kids. Look at all this fun – ball pit, video games, karaoke, puzzles, games, TV, trucks, arts & crafts, naptime beds, dolls, trains, trampoline and (I have to say it again!) a BALL PIT!
This is a feature I think every parent will love because it’s something that will keep your kids busy and occupied during the trip. There’s also a teen room, too with movies, games and a lounge area. The beauty is that there are things for the kids to do and it’s essential to be able to know what those things are going to be.
So what else for kids?
There is an adorable kiddie pool with a fountain, along with kiddie chairs.
There’s the BIG POOL, too! 🙂 Kids can get floaties, rafts and tubes and have some fun playing in the water with mom and dad!
Also, the beach. Endless fun playing in the sand and the gorgeous crystal clear water. There’s also babysitting services at the beach if you want to take a dip and your kids don’t want to go in. They have a playground set-up with nannies who will play and stay with your children while you go for a swim!
And don’t forget! Generations takes care of…

It’s heavenly.
And even at night… when everyone is asleep, there’s still a perfect moon that needs to be captured…
I recommend this for your family and extended family! Bring the generations to Generations Riviera Maya by Karisma, you will be so glad that you did and that you took advantage of all that the resort has to offer! You will go again and again and again.
