Shortly after the birth of my son I had the pleasure of attending the CBC Parenting Experience in the amazing London Penthouse in NYC. It was truly a fantastic gathering of some of top baby brands; many of which have proven to be my must haves since welcoming my little man.

One of the first stops was the Swaddle Me table which truly has been a lifesaver for me and my infant son. He is like most newborns a fussy sleeper and thanks to SwaddleMe by Summer Infant I have been able to soothe him by recreating the familiar snugness of being in the womb. I admit that I was never able to master the hospital Swaddle no matter how easy the nurses made it seem. With SwaddleMe and their error proof wings and Velcro closures I can sleep at ease knowing my son is safe and comfortable. SwaddleMe has our babies covered from birth to 12 months with an array of products designed to provide a safe sleep environment.

Summer Infant had a few new products all of which are absolutely fabulous for babies; particularly the Baby Touch WiFi Video Monitor. The monitor allows for in-home and away from home viewing. The high resolution color touchscreen allows parents to zoom in an out, scan and panther camera to ensure that baby is always in view. The talk back function is one of my favorite features as sometimes just hearing Mommy’s voce is enough to soothe a fussy baby. For when out of the house users can download the free Wifi viewing app. Although I am dreading going back to work, knowing that I can get a glimpse of what my baby is doing at any point during the day does provide some comfort.

Lastly, I loved the Lil Luxuries Whirpool, Bubbling Spa & Shower. I think back to my daughter’s 1st bath experience and it was less than calming. She just couldn’t get comfortable in her infant bath and cried the entire time. Although the photos are priceless, I hoped for a more soothing experience for my son. The Lil Luxuries Whirpool does just that…it includes a plush infant sling, a motorized jet that creates vibrations and bubbles. The bath not only soothes baby but keeps the warm circulating water jets and maintain the water temperature.

Born Free, the first BPA bottles mimics a mother’s natural nipple flow. Their Active Flow Venting Technology bottles help reduce colic like symptoms. The Born Free bottle system is a favorite of mine particularly the glass bottles; the entire line is uniquely designed to address the feeding needs of all babies whether they are breastfed, formula fed or both.

Zarbee’s Naturals is a pediatrician developed vitamin supplement that is designed to give immune support which is a must have for all children especially those who are school age and who sadly suffer from the inevitable colds as soon as September starts.

The Daily bee immune support gummies are formulated for everyday in support of children 4 and up. The vitamins include the daily dose of essential vitamins C, A and E but also include echinacea. I particularly like the cough syrup that even my very picky daughter enjoys taking.
