It’s Friday.
Oh, yes… take that in.
It’s FRIDAY.
We’re in New Hampshire this weekend for a swim meet for William – the New England Age Group Championships (12 and under). This is the time of year that he’s been training for since September. For the next 3 weekends in a row, he has championships… this weekend is the kick-off! I can’t stress enough how proud I am of this kid. He’s a hard-worker… he’s a go-getter… he’s a determined little bugger!
He swims 5 days a week. He doesn’t always love practice… but he does it. He tries hard and he pushes through. He loves racing and competing, so for him – this is the fun part. He has 9 races to get through this weekend – all with good seeds. I’m excited, I’m nervous… I’m everything this weekend for him.
But most of all, I’m just proud of him.
