The second my 1st son William was born, I became a “photographer.” I’m putting photographer in quotes because I’m as far from professional as can be, but all of a sudden, I needed every moment in my life with my beautiful newborn son measured in photos. It’s truly when photography became important and necessary to me. I wanted life captured. I wanted to have memories saved forever. I wanted to make sure that someday, my son would see everything that I saw, the things he didn’t remember. Over the last 10 years, we’ve added 4 more children to our McClelland family… and as our family has grown, so has my love and passion for capturing as much as I possibly can through photos and videos. Throughout the last few years, technology has made it easier and easier to snap and capture the special moments of life. It doesn’t matter what day it is or what occasion it is or what kind of “regular” night it is… I always have the means on me to capture a moment in time. My iPhone right now probably has about 3000 photos (no joke) on it and about 100 videos.
Photos and videos of my family – for me – are everything.
The problem for me is storing them, organizing them and protecting them.
When I was a child, digital photography didn’t exist. There was film and photo albums and gigantic video cameras. Every time my mother had a roll of film developed, she would come home and pop all of the photos into a photo album. She would label the albums and they would go right on our book shelves. It’s amazing when we go visit them… each photo album is labeled by month and year. It’s incredible to me. Each photo taken meant so much because there were no re-dos back then. What came back from the photo center was what came back. Every time I visit, I always get lost in one of the photo albums, and as my sons are getting older… it’s fun to watch them get lost in them, too.
But what about my photos and videos from today?
What about my family’s memories stored and saved in an easy and safe way?
Sadly, up till now – you know where my photos and videos are saved? Facebook. Instagram. YouTube. On my blog. And on my iPhone. That’s it. All these precious moments. All these meaningful slices of my life. They’re all just saved on social sharing sites.
Well, that’s all about to change for me… !
I’m BEYOND excited to share with you a HUGE game-changer in the world of photo sharing, saving and storing.
I’d like to introduce you to Bevy.
Bevy is going to become your new best friend, believe me!
Take a look…
Bevy is a small in-home connected device that collects, organizes and protects digital photos and videos taken by any family member on a mobile phone, tablet or digital camera. Bevy collects photos and videos the moment they are taken or on-demand. All family members connect to their Bevy via the free Bevy mobile app. With Bevy, all of a family’s digital memories can be effortlessly enjoyed and shared anytime, from anywhere.
Bevy was designed to provide a seamless digital photo and video experience for an entire extended family. There are no limitations on number of users; any number of family members can be associated with a single Bevy. Through the Bevy mobile app, each family member can use Bevy based on their personal preferences, without the hassle of having to log into separate online accounts. In addition, Bevy is not limited to wireless devices; the Bevy in-home device can store and protect content from many sources including digital cameras, SD cards, computers, and USB flash drives.
With Bevy, all photos and videos are in a single place, secured either with in-home USB backup (at no additional charge) or secure cloud backup (for an additional fee).
It’s truly one of those items that will help you organize for the future. Gone are the days of how it was for our parents and their photos. We don’t want to be the generation that missed sharing those memories because they happened to be snapped on a phone and then erased or misplaced into the cyber-world at some point.
Bevy knows that you’ve got photos saved EVERYWHERE — phones, cameras, computers, USB sticks… truly, the list goes on and on. But then it goes beyond just YOU. Add in your family members – grandma, grandpa, aunts and uncles, sisters and brothers, etc. Everyone has their own devices, storage, and accounts, and (well) you’ve got yourself a HUGE digital quagmire!
Bevy gives you a remarkable new way to take care of your family’s photos and videos. Making it easier than ever to store them. Organize them. Protect them. And, above all, enjoy them.
After all, it’s the enjoyment that we want from them… enjoyment year after year after year.
In order to do that, we need to make sure we have them stored, organized and protected.
