Rhode Island has had a brutal winter. It has been as low as 1 degree outside and we have had inches and inches (OK, feet!) of snow dumped on us since Christmas. It’s something that we haven’t seen here in Rhode Island for YEARS. As much as I know my sons love the snow and it’s fun to live in a region that does experience the 4 seasons, the cold weather does a NUMBER on my skin. It leaves my skin dry, cracked and chapped – and to be honest with you, it’s painful.

The worst culprit for me?
My hands.
It’s not fun at all having my hands be so dry and so cracked and so chapped, to the point where it actually hurts to wash my hands! The mixture of this weather and just my “normal” dry skin – well, it hasn’t been easy for me. It hasn’t been easy at all and it happens almost overnight!
