Fitting TracFone into my Lifestyle

With my lifestyle, I always need to be connected. I rely on technology more than I probably rely on anything! It helps run my life and keeps me organized, in touch and accessible whenever and wherever. With 5 children, a husband and my own business (not to mention a large extended family, babysitters, coaches and friends), I need to be able to connect with people quickly and effortlessly. To me, having the ability to call someone on the go, check my emails and peruse my apps is just part of my everyday routine. It’s something that’s second nature to me because my business as a blogger is all done digitally and remotely, so the technology I use needs to offer me the ability to work as I go. I know I’m not alone in looking for technology like this, so I love being able to share what I’m loving and thinking is a great addition to a family’s technology needs and wants.

For the last few weeks I’ve been trying out a TracFone.

Tracfone

I had purchased one for my son William in June and was really attracted to the no-contract aspect of it. For me, one of the worst parts of having a phone service is seeing that dreaded bill in the mailbox. The questions start running through my head: “What will the price be this month?” … “Did I go over on my minutes?” … “Am I using too much data?” It’s the same old thing every single month and it definitely can cause some headaches and some stress. I opted to try out the TracFone because they have no contracts, no bills, no overages, no credit checks, & no activation or cancellation fees. Also, with Unlimited Carryover from TracFone, you get to keep your unused minutes, texts and data as long as your service is active and in use within each 6 month period. It’s like a dream come true!

Before I purchased my TracFone, I researched all the different phone options that they offer. I was pleasantly surprised to see all the options available.

I just LOVED the features that the LG Ultimate 2 Android offers, really amazing – and ALL without a contract! Still kind of can’t believe it! Next step was the picking my plan and the actual activation of the phone. Good thing is, it’s SUPER easy to do.

For my plan, I opted for the LG Ultimate 2™ Android™ + 450 Min Card. There were 5 options for me to choose from – 60 minute/90 day, 120 minute/90 day, 200 minute/90 day, 450 minute/90 day and a 1 year/400 minute plan. I felt the 450 minute/90 day plan would best work for me because I will be using it a TON. It includes TracFone 450 Minute Airtime Card (3X Talk Time, 3x Texts & 3x Data) and 90 Days of Service. You get 1350 Minutes + 1350 Texts + 1350 MB (1.3GB) Data. International Calling Included.

TracFone just recently launched its new BYOP (Bring Your Own Phone) program for 4G LTE smartphones, which is amazing feature because when switching to TracFone, “you can buy a new phone or bring your own.” With TracFone’s Bring Your Own Phone program, you can get TracFone service on your current phone as long as it is compatible with their BYOP program. Compatible phones include: GSM Unlocked phones, AT&T Compatible phones, and some CDMA Technology Compatible phones. To check if your phone is compatible, select the “CHECK COMPATIBILITY” option at tracfonewireless.com/byop.

Next is the ACTIVATION part of it all!

How to Use TracFone

Right inside the package of your phone is the Activation Card. You can’t miss it! All you have to do is follow the simple instructions on the Activation Card to set-up the activation of your phone. You can actually activate it online or do over the phone, whatever you prefer to do. After your activation process is complete, which takes less than a minute to do, you add your airtime from the plan you selected! Since I selected the 450 minutes/90 days, I just add right onto my plan. I opted to do it online, but you can also do it by phone. Again, ALL SUPER EASY. TracFone truly makes each step doable and seamless. The fact that there’s not a million steps really allows for ease.

Again, my lifestyle is busy and always on-the-go! I appreciate that I get to really almost customize my own plan with TracFone by deciding what will work best for me and my needs without signing a contract and feeling bound. Believe me, it helps alleviate a lot of pressure! TracFone is really for anyone! It’s very easy to use, reliable and affordable. Phones and airtime options fit any budget and every lifestyle. It’s as simple as choosing your phone, activating it, buying Airtime.

Voila! You’re ready to talk, text and play.

Disclosure: I’m part of the TracFone ambassador program. All opinions are 100% my own.
