I was finally asked to join the Boys’ Club in my family! For the last 16 years my father and 2 brothers have attended the Red Sox opening game.
My dad has (4) season tickets, so they always have an extra golden spot! They’ve brought everyone throughout the years… my husband, my mom, my sister, my brother in law, friends… but, never me! It was never done to be mean, they just didn’t know that I’d love to go! Well – this year – my dad asked and I JUMPED at the chance!!
The Red Sox were playing the Baltimore Orioles and in true Red Sox spirit the crowd was full of energy and non-stop fun!!
My dad and brothers were SO MUCH fun to be with throughout the day! We laughed all afternoon! I never get this with my family because I’m usually always focused on my family! It was fun to just be a daughter and sister for the day!!
The Red Sox lost – BOOOOO!!! But the day was a day I’ll never forget!! I loved it!!
Sometimes you just need a day to escape your normal life and do something totally different and out of the box for you!!! GO SOX!!!!!!!!!!
